We are proud to announce the successful completion of the demonstration for the EVERYWH2ERE project at the Port of Tenerife. On November 9th and 10th, a rescue vessel docked at Muelle de la Ribera was powered by electricity generated from hydrogen for two consecutive days. This was made possible by one of the 100 kW fuel cell electric generators developed in the EVERYWH2ERE project.

Known as "cold ironing," this application provides a way to supply electrical energy to a berthed vessel while its engines are turned off. This achievement was made possible through a collaboration with the Port of Tenerife and Puertos del Estado, who is leading the OPS MASTERPLAN project. Together, we have successfully developed a pilot to supply electricity to docked ships using on-site generation of energy from hydrogen.

Pilot in Tenerife Port Receives Atlantic Project Award

We are excited to share that this innovative pilot experience has been recognized by the European Commission's Atlantic Strategy, receiving an award in the category of Marine Renewable Energies. This is a major step towards a more sustainable and eco-friendly future for the maritime industry. Congratulations to everyone involved in making this project a success!
